「不貳偶劇」創辦人，自幼喜愛戲曲，10歲開始接觸布袋戲，少年時於小西園傳統掌中劇團學藝。2008年起師從國寶藝師陳錫煌，學習傳統掌中戲操偶及戲偶粉飾、衣帽配件等製作工藝，2012年正式成為入室弟子；同時向國寶藝師林金鍊學習跳鍾馗民俗儀式傀儡戲。2024年拜泉州傀儡戲藝師林文榮為師，研習提線木偶。

長年投入古典偶戲演出、創作、工藝與傳承，並經常參與國內外戲曲、偶戲及跨領域製作。曾入圍第33、34、35屆傳藝金曲獎「最佳偶戲主演獎」，並榮獲第34屆傳藝金曲獎「最佳編劇獎」。

Founder of Unique Puppet Theatre, Chien-Fu Kuo developed a passion for traditional Chinese theatre from an early age and began studying Taiwanese glove puppetry at the age of ten. As a teenager, he trained with the Hsiao Hsi Yuan Puppet Theatre. In 2008, he began studying under National Living Treasure Master Chen Hsi-Huang, learning traditional glove-puppet manipulation as well as puppet painting, costume-making, headwear, accessories, and other traditional crafts. In 2012, he was formally accepted as Master Chen’s disciple. During the same period, he also studied the ritual Zhong Kui marionette tradition under National Living Treasure Master Lin Chin-Lien. In 2024, he became a disciple of Quanzhou marionette master Lin Wen-Rong, furthering his study of traditional string puppetry.

Kuo has devoted his career to the performance, creation, craftsmanship, and transmission of classical puppetry, collaborating extensively with theatre and puppetry companies in Taiwan and internationally. He was nominated for Best Puppetry Performer at the 33rd, 34th, and 35th Golden Melody Awards for Traditional Arts and Music, and received the Best Playwright Award at the 34th edition.
