不貳偶劇致力於傳演及演出經典布袋戲劇目如《大鬧天宮》、《戰宛城》、《四平山》、《秦懷玉殺四門、《孫臏鬥海潮》、《飛劍奇俠》、《虹霓關》、《衝霄樓》、《七子十三生》、《鐵公案》、《鄭與下西洋》、《審葉阡》等，強調傳統操偶技法的淬煉，以及傳統戲曲音樂的應用搭配，專注於打磨傳統的演出風格及氣韻。傳統戲曲故事多源自《西遊記》、《三國演義》、《隋唐演義》、《七俠五義》等中國古典名著、神話及歷史，除了展現深厚的文化底蘊與藝術價值外，更具發揚傳統文化與精神及人文價值的重要意義。

Classical Glove Puppetry

Unique Puppet Theatre is dedicated to the preservation, transmission, and performance of classical Taiwanese glove puppetry. Its repertoire includes traditional works such as Havoc in Heaven, The Battle of Wancheng, The Battle of Siping Mountain, Qin Huaiyu Battles Through the Four Gates, Sun Bin Battles Hai Chao, The Flying Sword Hero, Hongni Pass, The Tower of Heaven, Seven Sons and Thirteen Heroes, The Iron Magistrate, Zheng He’s Voyages to the Western Seas, and The Trial of Ye Qian.

The company places particular emphasis on refining traditional puppet manipulation techniques and integrating traditional theatrical music into its performances. Through continuous practice and transmission, Unique Puppet Theatre seeks to preserve the distinctive style, rhythm, and artistic spirit of classical glove puppetry.

The stories of traditional Chinese theatre are often drawn from classical literature, mythology, and history, including renowned works such as Journey to the West, Romance of the Three Kingdoms, Romance of the Sui and Tang Dynasties, and The Seven Heroes and Five Gallants. Beyond their rich cultural heritage and artistic value, these stories embody enduring humanistic values and serve as an important medium for passing traditional culture, aesthetics, and cultural memory from one generation to the next.
